Welcome to Blaugust Week Two

This is late but I wanted to attempt some of these anyway.

Tell us ten random facts about the human behind the blog. #

1. I am the oldest of three.
2. The first concert I went to, that I’m aware of anyway, was Sharon Lois, and Bram.
3. I prefer my coffee cold.
4. I am trying to teach myself guitar.
5. I prefer an IPA.
6. I do not care for favorites (movie, band, etc.).
7. When I was growing up I wanted to be an artist.
8. My first job ever was at Kids R’ Us.
9. My parents still have Donatello, the turtle I was gifted back in high school.
10. I almost went into Mathematics. I double majored because I could not decide.

Tell us about your absolutely favorite entertainment media. #

Music. Although I have not been listening to so much recently. Typically listening to indie rock or hiphop. I have also been listening to some acoustic guitar heavy music that L insists sounds like country.

Tell the story behind the creation and name of your blog. #

It is just my name.

What other hobbies do you have besides blogging / the topic of your blog? #

The blog itself has become a bit of a hobby but I picked up learning guitar this year too.

Tell us about the part of the world you live in like you’re trying to attract someone to visit. #

South-East Michigan, has a more affordable cost of living, large fresh water lakes, and typically manages to avoid most natural disasters. It also manages to have more temperate seasons than other rust belt and midwest states. Also, something about pure Michigan. I do not know.

Tell us about your blogging workflow and / or show us your creative space. #

I typically write directly in VSCode using npx @11ty/eleventy --serve to build and serve the site for testing and publishing using netlify deploy --prod.

The code itself is hosted on codeberg.
