A brief change log for this site.

February

• Switched from Jekyll to 11ty.
• Refactored some of the CSS with a plan to further simplify the CSS in future iterations.

January

• Updated tag counting logic so I can pass any tag and it only counts for the current year.
• Removed pill shaped objects for tags.
• Set Hatori Hanzo font for H2, H3, H4 and H5.
• H5 is now uppercase and used for tags label in posts primarily.
• Added "kin" section for people and pets mentioned in posts.

November 2025

• Added animations so the pill shaped objects.
• Standardized pill shape objects and cards.
• Removed sun and moon toggle in footer and replaced it with a pill shaped object that contains four circles representing light mode, dark mode, black mode, and white mode.

October 2025

• Reworked the tags system on the site to present better. Each tag now has its own dedicated page that is created during the build of the site.
• Added Octothorp.es integration across all blog pages so the site should be discoverable there when tags are used.
