Army of Darkness

When Ash Williams is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., he must retrieve the Necronomicon and battle an army of the dead in order to return home.

I saw this Evil Dead movie first so it will always have a special place. This is not what you expect from one of these films approaching it from either chronological direction.

While technically taking place immediately after Evil Dead 2 this has a whole new feel.

What even is an Evil Dead movie?

The Midieval setting is really quite silly but also it kinda sounds like mid-evil which sounds like this was a joke that they made the film at all. Do not correct me I do not want to know.

This movie has soo many one liners. What is your favorite one? For some reason, “Hello Mr. Fancy Pants gets me every time!”

I like how over the top everything is and I am here for the slapstick comedy for some reason. I am not the biggest fan of the tiny Ashs butit is not enough to put me off the film obviously. The Jason and the Arognauts final fight is a lot of fun and silly and ridiculous.

Growing up going to Kmart makes shopping smart at S-Mart pretty fun as well.

This is not for everyone but this is definietely a comfort pick for me.
