Personal #

The family just got back from the Boston (to see Ariana Grande) and a trip to Cape Cod. We had excellent seats for the concert and enjoyed a few nights in downtown Boston. Spent almost a week on Cape Cod with bonfires every night, the ocean within walking distance, relaxed schedule of activities, and some good seafood.

In May I got a job at Lineage, a cold-chain logistics company, as a Product Owner working with their Warehouse Control System software team. It is still less than 90 days in but I am learning a lot about what they are building and I had the opportunity to visit a few sites already.

About a week before starting my new job, I started a masters in business administration at Central Michigan University. I had planned to start class for months and it just so happened to closely coincide with starting work too. First semester (8 weeks) I had two classes but I went down to one class this semester since I was going to be traveling for work for two weeks and on vacation for another two weeks.

Lots of changes happening this spring and summer so it definitely seemed like time for a “now” update.

Movies/TV #

We are currently wrapping up the last season of Soap, a comedy show from the 70s which at least partially inspired Arrested Development.

We are in the middle of the third season of House of the Dragon (HotD).

We are currently caught up on all, available to us, versions of The Traitors (US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada).

For my birthday I made Leah watch The Lighthouse which she liked, so that was nice.

Music #

We drove a lot the past few weeks and listened to a lot of Motown and Ariana Grande. The drive home took place on the day of Petal’s release, Ariana’s new album, so we listened to it a few times.

Death Cab for Cutie had a new album come out which I listened to twice but have not listened to it again in weeks. I do not have anything I am especially into right now.

Other #

I removed the baking and gardening section from last year as I did not make a garden this year and baking has reduced significantly.
