Week 21

General #

• Started a new job. Monday was onboarding and reading documentation and watching what they call “brown bag” videos. They have recorded some lunch and learns that gave some good overviews of their systems. Tuesday through Thursday I was onsite in Novi to meet with teams during their product design team meetings. Exciting to meet and learn from the team so soon. Friday was home again with a meeting and reading through documentation and inflight stories.
• Practiced guitar for at least 30 minutes most days. Tuesday and Wednesday I was in Novi for afterwork activities so I did miss playing a few days this week for the first time since I started.
• Managed to complete my portion of two group projects as planned. Week 2 of school was complete on Saturday and Week 3 for accounting will be mostly complete. Just missing the group project and the quiz which I am giving myself more time on.

• Leah and I watched the last show of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and we are sad that it is gone. I think they did a good job of still doing the show while celebrating the show at the same time. We also really liked the Only in Monroe episode they uploaded to YouTube. Paul McCartney is a heck of a guest for the last episode of a show filmed at the Ed Sullivan Theater, the same stage where The Beatles first debuted in America. This show has been a bright spot in a dark time for the news.
• Leah and I are still watching Soap. This continues to be a bonkers show andddd I cannot even guess what they throw at us next.
• Played some Overwatch. Way less than usual as you may expect.
