New Post Type - Project
I went ahead and created a new post type on the site for "project." The goal of this post type is to allow me to tag posts that relate to work related projects. Obviously I am not disclosing any sensitive information but I would like to document some of the things I have accomplished professionally.
This has been something I have been thinking about since starting the site but never committed to fully. I do not want to talk costs or name names but I think I can still lay out some challenges and how we managed to overcome them.
I recently completed my application to take the PMP Certification exam from PMI. Part of the application is detailing some projects you worked on to demonstrate you meet the experience requirements. This has me reflecting on past projects so I thought I would use my examples for that application as the start of blog posts here.
Descriptions of a project require only 200-500 words but there is always more story to be told about any project. For the first few I will follow the recommended structure for the application but going forward I will probably deviate a bit.
With each post type having a unique theme I have also created a new theme for a "project." I went with grey as the main color as I really wanted the words to be the focus.
EDI Automation is my first project post.
This is day 29 of 100 Days To Offload.
