Superman, a journalist in Metropolis, embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent.
It’s nice to have a Superman film that has some joy in it. The Snyderverse films were all so dark and depressing. This movie is fun and certainly a good popcorn film.
It does a feel a bit like a diet version of The Guardians of the Galaxy though. I think it’s smart to add more characters to the world of Superman because I don’t think he’s that interesting. Similar to Batman the most interesting thing about Superman are the characters around him.
