General
- Drove our absentee ballots to city hall.
- Updated Jellyfin to resolve an issue I encountered yesterday after adding music to the library.
- Downloaded 1Password .deb and setup the custom browser for vivladi which appears to be resolving issues I was having with the extension logging out at random.
- Used MusicBrainz Picard to update music metadata.
- Took some more notes this week so I have more to say now.
- Applied to a few jobs. More than I want to say here. I think I’m getting frustrated and not being as selective as I’d like to be.
Around the house
- Cut the remaining railing from the porch and sanded down the screws so everything is flush.
- Brushed Kamala. Finally was able to remove all matts related to her shirt wearing when the vet tried to remove matts and nicked. It was small enough to just glue but she needed to wear a shirt for days.
- Did some leaf blowing getting things into the street for pickup. I’m about a week early but honestly there will be a bunch more to get out there between now and pickup.
- Took down the remainder of the garden for the winter. I’m going to get as many leaves as I can in there to act as mulch so I did this before I started anything with the leaves.
- Made enough chicken noodle soup that most of it will be frozen for future meals. It’s already gotten good reviews though, which is nice.
Meals
- Spaghetti Monday and Taco Tuesday as per usual.
- Leah and Noah went to Chili’s for Wicked swizzles and I had Orange Chicken from Mui’s.
- Made the french fry recipe on Thursday and managed not to set off any smoke alarms this time. The microwave fan over the stove really isn’t enough in some situations it’s frustrating.
- The return of pizza Friday after Halloween overwhelmed local pizza places.
