Panopto Download

I offered to put together the video for the final group project of the semester. For whatever reason Panopto was not allowing me to download the file so I can add it to the others. Anyway today is the last day to turn it in so I went searching for another way.

The following was found on reddit and it worked.

1. Install the TamperMonkey
2. Install this script from GreasyFork
3. In Panopto click the new download button.
4. In the new tab right click and “Save Video As”

Step 4 may vary based on your browser.

I ended up hearing back from the other group member and they uploaded their video, but I had found and executed this solution quick enough that the final video was exporting. Not complaining about the other person in the group just thought it was neat that this exists and wanted to make sure I documented it somehow.

The video ended up being too high quality for Blackboard so I had to export it again at a lower setting. Just time I will never get back. That is all.
