Week 16

General

  • Applied to a few jobs.
  • Interview on Tuesday went well and I am hoping for a positive follow up. Had a phone screen Wednesday and will be scheduling some time this upcoming week for a follow up.
  • Practiced guitar for at least 30 minutes each day. Spent more time on C chord transitions and playing along with some songs. I am narrowing the list of songs to learn. There are limited options with where I am at currently.
  • Went ahead and merged the change branch and launched the site redesign. Currently in the process of writing up some details on the changes and that post should be out soon.
  • Completed the practice exam for the PMP certification that was included in my Udemy course. I got a 69% and 70% is required to pass. Now I am going back through and reviewing sections that need the most improvement. I will likely rewatch these portions and take notes for further review. I don't want to sign up for a test until I can get close to 100% in practice exams.

Media

  • Reading through the appendix of Dune. This part is not nearly as interesting as the book proper so it is taking longer than I expected.
  • Continued rewatching Arrested Development with Leah. Season four was not as bad as I remembered. My expectations were pretty high at the time and what came out was a let down. I still think the season has some serious problems but I am just glad to have more with these characters. The season ends abruptly and even if you were muddling through watching it the ending is a bit of a punch in the face.
  • Leah and I have finished watching DTF St. Louis. They did exactly what I was hoping they were not going to do. There were some twists and turns through out the season but the big mystery of the show ended exactly as I thought it would. It is a quirky little show with a big depressing ending. I do not think it was worth the time.
  • Found out Peacock is included in our Xfinity account so I got that added and we're finishing up The Traitors UK. Some of these folks made some huge swings and it is not turning out well for them.
  • Been listening back through the Death Cab for Cutie catalog. This is the first time I've included music listening that didn't include ten artists. I am sure I'll branch out more this week.
  • I completed drives in Overwatch again. So far this amounts to a 100% completion rate which seems pretty rare from what I've seen in game. It does tend to put me off competitive matches for a while after though. I did finish last season off in Platinum 4 on support which is an all time high for me but average in the player base.
