Week 2

General

Applied to a few jobs. A few more than usual this week. Seems like there have been more posted since the first of the year.
Experimented with different versions of Proton to run Overwatch and ended up on the latest GE version with a rather lengthy command. This makes the game run so much better than what it was doing before. It’s definitely more taxing on my GPU but it’s producing as many frames as my monitors can handle and there is no stutter.
Worked on a small project that I’m not ready to say more about yet at this time. It’s entirely unnecessary but I like digging into how other examples of this sort of thing function. So I am learning if nothing else.
Added a Jekyll collection for “kin” which I will be using to tag people I mention on the blog. This is something I have admired from others so I thought I would spend a few minutes to implement here as well.

Completed Project Runway season eleven. There wasn’t a clear winner throughout but it remained interesting enough not to jump to the end which was nice.
Watched the fourth episode of Fall Out season two. Thought this episode was okey-dokie.
Watched the first three episodes of The Traitors US. Despite being so reality TV show dependent (The UK version has everyday people), Leah and I really like this show.

Leah
