After the [filters] challenge the first thing that came to mind for blink is what I went with. If we can detect your face we should be able to tell if you have blinked. So that's what it does, it takes your camera, detects your face, and determines if you blinked. If you do blink it updates the counter and changes the background to a random color. If you blink a bunch the background will flash through a number of different colors which I think is fun.
